Most people require 2 to 3 treatments spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart to achieve optimal results. The exact number of treatments depends on the areas being treated and the amount of volume loss.

Sculptra results are gradual and typically take 4 to 6 weeks to become noticeable, as collagen stimulation takes time. The full results usually become visible within 3 to 6 months after the final treatment.

Sculptra's results typically last 2 to 3 years. This is because it works by stimulating collagen production, which takes time to develop. Although the initial results are gradual, they can continue to improve over months and last much longer than some other fillers.

Sculptra Pre & Post Care
After each treatment session with Sculptra there are a few easy things you will need to help with the treatment results.
ICE PACK: Within the first 24 hours of treatment, apply a cloth-wrapped ice pack to the treated area for a few minutes at a time. Never apply ice directly to the skin. The cold will help reduce common swelling.
FACIAL MASSAGES: Massage the treated area for 5 minutes 5 times a day for 5 days after treatment as recommended by your provider.
AVOID SUN EXPOSURE: Protecting your skin from the sun is always important, but after treatment, excessive sunlight and UV lamp exposure should be avoided until any initial swelling and redness go away. Apply sunscreen of 30 SPF or higher every 2 hours.
Remember, Sculptra works by gradually replacing lost collagen. It provides improvements subtly and results will not be immediate. Be sure to keep your follow up appointment for best results. Typically multiple treatments are necessary.
Post-Treatment
DO massage the treated areas 5 times a day for about 5 minutes for 5 days after treatment.
Avoid makeup for 24-48 hours.
Treated areas may be red, swollen, and bruised for the first 2-7 days.
Do NOT get a facial or massage for 2 weeks after your procedure.
Avoid strenuous workouts and alcohol for 24 hours.
If bruising occurs, continue Arnica supplements, DO apply topical Arnica gel, drink fresh pineapple juice, and/or take Bromelain supplements to help bruising resolve faster.
A few days after treatment, you will look as you did before treatment. This is normal, over time, Sculptra will replace lost collagen. Results are not typically realized for 4 months and typically require multiple treatments.
