Lumecca is an Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment that is a non-invasive and non-ablative cosmetic procedure designed to address various skin concerns and improve overall skin appearance. IPL is commonly used to treat conditions such as sunspots, freckles, broken capillaries, and rosacea.
During an IPL treatment, broad-spectrum light is applied to the skin in short pulses, targeting pigment irregularities, redness, acne, and signs of aging. The light energy penetrates the skin, selectively targeting melanin (responsible for pigmentation) and hemoglobin (responsible for redness). This process stimulates the body's natural healing response, promoting collagen production and causing pigmented lesions to gradually fade. This light energy is also capable of destroying bacterial cells responsible for persistent acne.
The procedure is versatile with minimal downtime. Multiple sessions may be recommended for optimal results. Click below to take advantage of our discounted package.

Morpheus8 is an advanced, non-surgical cosmetic treatment that combines microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) technology to rejuvenate and tighten the skin. The treatment uses a handheld device with tiny needles that deliver RF energy into the deeper layers of the skin.
Morpheus8 is known for its ability to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity. The microneedling component creates micro-channels, prompting the skin's natural healing response, while the RF energy heats the deeper tissues, promoting collagen remodeling. This dual-action approach helps reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and scarring, and can also contour and tighten the treated areas.
Morpheus8 is versatile and can be used on various areas of the face and body. The RF energy component is capable of melting stubborn areas of fat to create a slim and rejuvenated appearance of the face and body.
The procedure is well-tolerated, with minimal downtime, and patients may experience mild redness or swelling that typically resolves within a few days. The gradual and long-lasting results make Morpheus8 a popular choice for individuals seeking non-surgical skin and body rejuvenation.

Lumecca FAQs
-
Lumecca is effective for treating various skin concerns, including:
Sun damage (sun spots, age spots, liver spots)
Pigmentation (freckles, melasma)
Vascular issues (broken capillaries, rosacea, redness)
Uneven skin tone
Skin texture improvement
General skin rejuvenation to brighten the skin
-
Lumecca delivers a broad spectrum of light into the skin, which is absorbed by specific pigment (like melanin) or blood vessels (hemoglobin). The light energy is converted into heat, which helps to break down the pigment and cause blood vessels to collapse, improving skin tone and texture.
-
The treatment is typically well tolerated by most patients and numbing is not required, but some may experience mild discomfort during the procedure. The sensation is often described as a rubber band snap or mild sting, especially over areas with more pigmentation. Cooling gel or air cooling devices may be used to minimize discomfort during treatment.
-
Lumecca is ideal for individuals with pigmentation issues, sun damage, age spots, freckles, or vascular lesions like spider veins. It can also help with redness from rosacea or acne scars. However, it may not be suitable for darker skin tones, as IPL can sometimes cause hyperpigmentation in people with higher melanin levels.
-
Most people require 1-3 treatments to achieve optimal results, depending on the severity of the skin concern. Sessions are typically spaced about 4-6 weeks apart.
-
There is little to no downtime after a Lumecca treatment. You may experience some redness, slight swelling, or mild discomfort for a few hours after the procedure. Pigmented areas (like sun spots) may darken temporarily before they flake off, usually within 7-10 days.

The device uses microneedles to penetrate the skin while delivering RF energy deep into the tissue. This stimulates collagen and elastin production, tightens the skin, and remodels underlying tissues.
-
Morpheus8 is generally well-tolerated. A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure to minimize discomfort. Patients may feel mild heat or pressure during the treatment.
-
The treatment usually takes between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated. The numbing cream needs to be applied 20 to 30 minutes before the procedure, which can add additional time.
-
Most people need at least 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. After 3 sessions, the provider will reevaluate whether more session are necessary. This will depend on the body’s response to the Morpheus8 treatment, the initial state of the condition, and the patient’s aesthetic goal.
-
Most people experience minimal downtime. There may be some redness, swelling, or bruising in the treated areas, but this usually resolves within 1-3 days. It’s important to avoid direct sun exposure and keep the treated area very clean. We ask that you follow our aftercare instructions for best healing and results.
-
Results can start to appear as early as 3-4 weeks after treatment, with the most significant improvements visible within 3-6 months. Since collagen production continues to build after the treatment, improvements will continue over time.
